Class D Approved

Ascent is one of the few Canadian companies that is Transport Canada approved to offer ‘Class D’ programs. Class D—also known as HETS (Helicopter External Transport System)—is a system used to provide prompt evacuation of sick or injured workers from rugged areas, foregoing the unacceptable length of time and increased risk of further injury that comes from traditional evacuation. HETS is of great benefit to any organization requiring high time pilots with precision long line ability.
