These workhorses of the utility helicopter fleet have been used worldwide, from the jungles of South-East Asia to the frigid temperatures of the Arctic, in a variety of configurations for many years. Ascent has taken these aircraft one step further with extensive modifications to ensure we are keeping up with technological changes and improvements to safety that only serve to enhance an already proven aircraft. Our aircraft are equipped with state of the art satellite tracking systems which also provide satellite telephone and data transfer capabilities through BlueTooth connectivity within the cabin area. We have just completed modification of the first Bell 205A-1 +++ to be upgraded with the Bell 212 nose assembly and fully integrated Sagem glass cockpit, ensuring this aircraft remains technologically viable for years to come. It boasts the Dash 17 engine, 212 rotor system and a strake kit for superior performance.
